Jill Hennessy
The resident from Edmonton, Alberta has a multi-generational ancestry that includes Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. Jacqueline is her twin sister, and is an actor. Jill was fluent in several languages during her growing years. It included Italian, French, and Spanish. As she was 12 years old older, Jill began her journey into being an actor. She started her acting career in Toronto with David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers playing an escort alongside their twin sisters. After that, she studied improv-comedy in Second City with Deb Kimmet. After moving from New York, Claire signed a contract for two years with Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. The actress also appeared in films including RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) in her three-year tenure. For the next few years she became a part of many forgettable film However, in 1999, she was offered a leading role in the miniseries uremberg opposite Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed the show, along with Exit Wounds. She landed the leading role in her role on the NBC Crime drama Crossing Jordan in 2001. In 2007, she won the Gracie Allen Award for "Outstanding female leading actress in a drama series" in recognition of her performance on the show. In 2000, she got married to another actor Paolo Mastropietro. They have two kids. In 2007 She was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame.
