Awkwafina
Awkwafina Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of race and sexuality. Her career expanded to Hollywood after she released an album of raps. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was her first instrument. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop studies began when she was just a teenager. While in college, she focused on her studies, and then majored both in women's study as well as journalism. While she was for a brief amount of time, in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were offered as well. She didn't start focusing on music until she graduated. The song My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a popular viral sensation via the Internet and later appeared on her first LP Yellow Ranger. It also included other viral hits like the body-positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The final track was closely linked to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, released in the year 2015. Her resume included both musicians and an author. She was now looking to further her career in acting. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in movies such as Neighbors and Storks. In 2018, her breakthrough performances included Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP debuted in June.
